Sarah Robinson is the Managing Partner.
Sarah studied law at King’s College, University of London: LLB Honours degree and Nottingham Trent University: Law Society Finals Examinations
She has specialised exclusively in employment law since qualifying as a solicitor in 1996. Prior to founding Alpha Law, Sarah worked for large regional and national law firms.
Sarah has considerable experience of advising and representing employees from both public and private sector backgrounds and from a diverse range of industry sectors including manufacturing, insurance and financial services, pharmaceutical, IT, hospitality, leisure and retail amongst many others. With the benefit of many years’ experience of representing clients in employment matters, Sarah is able to provide a prompt appraisal of your employment matter and advise you on the options open to you for achieving the best possible outcome in your particular circumstances. Sarah is renowned for providing sound strategic and pragmatic advice to her clients.
In addition, Sarah also regularly advises senior executives in relation to the terms of proposed service agreements and contracts of employment including post termination restrictive covenants.
Sarah is a member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association. Her interests outside the office include tennis, swimming and skiing as well as films, art, music and theatre and spending time with her family.

Advising the Managing Director of a group of companies in relation to potential claims and negotiating a substantial exit package;
Successfully representing a senior female executive in an employment tribunal claim for constructive dismissal and payment of a bonus against a leading insurer;
Advising on and negotiating a substantial severance package for a senior executive of an international IT company
Successfully representing a client in a claim for disability discrimination and unfair dismissal against West London NHS Mental Health Trust.
Successfully representing a client in a claim for sex discrimination and constructive dismissal which was settled shortly before an employment tribunal hearing.
Negotiating significantly increased severance packages for senior executives with various FTSE 100 companies.
